Dr Eugene Botha founded blue Marble Entertainment in the early 2000’s and has been producing broadcast television material for all broadcasters in South Africa for the last two decades (SABC, MNet, kykNET, Via, e-tv) and this includes the following genres: factual, reality, travel, children, education, game shows, live television, documentaries and news and current affairs material.

The company has been nominated for many broadcast and television awards and prizes and has won, amongst others, an American Silver Screen Award, the Webber Wentzel Legal Journalist of the Year Award and several South African Film and Television Award (SAFTA) awards — including one for Best News and Current Affairs Programme and the other for Best Magazine Programme for an Afrikaans travel-lifestyle series.
